“The heavens declare the glory of God and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”
Recently a friend sent me this picture.

He said when he saw it, he thought of me and maybe I could use it in a devotion. I immediately went to Psalm 19:1.
How often do we get so tied up in our busy lives that we simply forget to look around? Why do we fail to see God’s Glory right in front of our eyes? There is not a man who exists, that could create a scene such as this. Several types of clouds all competing for the same space against a crystal blue backdrop and a brilliant green foreground. We take it all for granted.
We need to slow down and take notice of the beauty that God paints every day. It doesn’t have to be an immaculate garden, or a landscaped flower bed. It can be one small unique tree in the middle of a concrete jungle. Or, maybe it’s a tiny flower growing where no one expects it to be. It could just be an unusual cloud formation you spot while sitting at a traffic light. And, still yet, it could be a magnificent sunset just waiting to add awe to the end of your day. All you have to do is look.

If you look just to the right of the setting sun, you will see a tree with two branches growing straight out in opposite directions. Can you see the cross? “The Heaven’s declare the glory of God and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.”

Very good!
I look for his gifts daily and gain wisdom from God’s hand and voice made worlds. Amen
