Our Daily Text

*These are a series of text messages that Vickie sent out to her co-workers to encourage them and help them keep focused through the challenging times we are facing.*

Morning all. I feel most of us could quote John 3;16. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whoever believeth on Him should not perish but have everlasting life. I like the next verse too that says God sent not His only Son into the world to condemn the world but that thru Him the world might be saved. So as we start our day today in a world that seems so angry at each other, we can take heart in knowing that we are not condemned as long as we have accepted Christ. And also, that we can show Him to others, so that they too may know they can have the peace of God that passes all understanding.

I agree, Vickie. And that second verse convicts me to be careful of what I say to and about people. As God loves each one, we are to love each one. To love them redemptively. In a way that leads them to the Lord. So I’m reminded not to be critical, not to hold a grudge, not to be dismissive, or anything else that would not reflect the Lord Jesus Christ. May He help us all in this endeavor.

But note God knows all and is still in control of his world. Read Psalm 36:9-12 about his light and what will happen to workers of iniquity, Amen. Tell someone about Jesus today, please. Amen
