Matthew 5:13 Jesus said ye are the salt of the earth.

Take a moment and think about what Jesus said. What does salt do? It for sure makes things taste better and it will make you thirsty. So how do we apply this to our week? For one, when we have Christ, He helps us to handle difficult situations a whole lot better than if we tried to handle them by ourselves. By relying on Him it makes life joyful and things turn out for the good. Let’s be honest, people watch Christian’s to see if they really live what they preach. So if others can see us be Christ like each day and in each situation, maybe that will create a thirst in them to commit their life to Christ and find a peace that only comes from knowing and following Him!

Great devotion,I think of salt as a curing on ham, making country ham. It must be applied to be effective. That’s our job as God’s laborers to apply his word to the lost around us, Amen
