Psalms 23:3
Paul said “For as many as are led by the Spirit, they are the sons of God.” Romans 8:14
Sheep have to be led. If not they are prone to wander into dangerous and desolate places. Isaiah said “All we like sheep have gone astray.” Isaiah 53:6 This is why the parable of the lost sheep is so beautiful and touching, because when we do stray we have a loving shepherd that has come to seek and save that which is lost.
Jesus said that the Shepehard “Call his sheep by name and leads the them out.” John 10:3 where does he lead them? In the paths of righteousness. Does he do this for their benefit? Yes! But more than that he does he “For his names sake.”
Not only does he lead in righteousness, he also “leads them beside still waters. This is symbolic of refreshment. As Christ leads his church thru dry and desert places between green pastures, it is comforting to know that he has an oasis prepared for rest and replenishment.
Christ will lead the discerning follower into right living and right decision making. He also will revive and refresh the soul along the journey.

Psalms 23:2,3; Romans 8:14, John 10:3

This sheep strayed away but my shepherd found me and lead me home. There is no telling where l would have gone if he hadn’t loved me and cared about me. The best thing that ever happened to me . Think of all the chances you take in your life, but refuse to take one with God. ( BIG MISTAKE AND THE WORST THING YOU CAN EVER DO).
