Joy Comes in the Morning and Hear My Cry Oh God

Updated: Apr 7, 2021

Joy Comes in the Morning

Psalm 30:5

The steadfast love of the Lord never ends.

New mercies each morning, God faithfully sends.

When troubles and sadness appear in the night,

New mercies are coming through miraculous light.

The light that doth shine at the dawn of each day,

Brings the Joy that will take all of our burdens away.

Christ is that light where the joy enters in,

And captures our hearts from without and within.

So as night creeps in with burdens to bear,

The morning star will soon be there.

Joy comes in the morning it will not delay.

Cast all of your cares upon Jesus today.

Hear My Cry Oh God

Psalm 61:1,2

Oh God

You see me from the heavens

So small

So dirty

So lost

Cleanse me with your blood

Wash me oh God

Break me into nothingness

Show me how wretched I am

Insignificant

Unimportant

‘Helpless

Humble my soul

Cause me to listen

To yield to your spirit

To obey

To say.

Yes Lord

Is that you

Show me your grace

Your love

Your mercy

Make me attentive to your still small voice

Breath on me

Whisper

I am all you need

I am everything

Amen
