Hope: In Times Like These

Good morning! This is a devotional poem that is written by Kathy Crouch that I wanted to share today. I pray that it will be a blessing to you all!

In times like these, when days seem uncertain,

Dreams are shattered,

Hearts are broken;

Look to the heavens.

You will find Hope.

In times like these, when fear takes hold,

Faith is shaken,

Love wanes cold;

Look to the heavens.

You will find Hope.

In times like these, when doubt sneaks in,

Truth dies,

Deception wins;

Look to the heavens.

You will find Hope.

In times like these, when we are sad,

All seems lost,

All seems bad;

Look to the heavens.

Hope lives there.

Hope is a person, just and fair.

His name is Jesus.

He sits on his throne.

He tells us he will never, leave us alone.

Stay focused, stay hopeful,

And stay on your knees.

Our Savior is for us, in times like these.

Cry out to him.

Cry out today.

He intercedes, in a marvelous way.

In times like these,

When we can’t seem to cope,

Look to the heavens,

Our Jesus is Hope.
