Matthew 22:37,38
When I played high school football I would often hear my coach say something like “Give it your best! Give it 110%! Leave it all out on the field!” and various other one liners to motivate us to play at our best to win. The goal every season was to win a state championship but the focus was on working hard Monday through Thursday to win on Friday night. The desire for a state championship never overshadowed the daily task of practicing hard to be the best we can be.
We as a Christians have a goal of making heaven our home someday and we should live our lives everyday knowing that each day could be the day we arrive there. But the goal should never overshadow the task of what Christianity is all about on a daily basis and that is to “Love the Lord Thy God with all the heart soul and mind.” This is should be the daily aspiration of every Christian and in doing so all other Christian duties will fall into place.
Notice Jesus didn’t say “Give it your best or give 110%” but he tells us to “Give him our all.” This is a great revelation from Jesus in how to approach the daily Christian life. Some Christians are content with given their
· Time
· Money
· Gifts
· Talents
But Jesus is not asking for these things of us primarily. The only thing he really wants from us is our heart. If he has our hearts then he gets the whole package! These things mentioned above will fall into their rightful place at their rightful time bringing meaning, purpose, and satisfaction to the believers life.
So let us take hold of the words of Solomon in Proverbs when he says “My son, give me your heart.” Proverbs 23:26 Solomon also said that “Out of the heart flows the issues of life.” Proverbs 4:23 This is what the Lord is asking of us daily; To love him with all of our heart. For if he has our heart then he doesn’t have a part of us… He has all of us!

We tell our family and friends we love them and care for them and our actions speak louder than words. We should treat God the same way . Take the time to talk to him and praise him.The best way to spell love is T I M E . Take the time to love!
I totally agree, keep your heart Filled with his love, then you can share it by witnessing, Amen. Each man in my A - team was expected to give his all, for all of us to make it home safe and sound.
