Be Still and Know

Psalm 46:10

Be still oh my child

And rest in me.

Know that it is I

Who will rescue thee.

When you realize you’re lost

In sin and shame,

It is I who will tenderly

Call you by name.

I am the Lord Your God,

The Lord of hosts;

The Father, Son,

And Holy Ghost.

I will be exalted

In all the earth.

You will see what salvation

Is really worth.

To surrender it all

Means the heart must be changed.

It must be cleaned up

And then rearranged.

Thoughts that were once

So captured by sin,

Will not be allowed

To enter in.

As grace through faith

Once hears your plead,

The God of heaven

will meet your need.

Salvation secured,

Be still and know;

I will never leave you,

Nor let you go.
