Psalm 27:6 in part says…”at His sacred tent I will sacrifice with shouts of joy; I will sing and make music to the Lord.
“Amen Is Where We Begin” is a Christian song by Pepper Choplin, that I love to listen to. The Chorus says, "Amen is where we begin to serve the kingdom of Heaven. When this hour of worship is done, we have just begun. Our choir has sung it many times. The chorus to this song really hits home. But before you listen to it, ask yourself if you know what the word “Amen” means.
When you hear someone say, “Amen”, it means it is so or I agree with you. So, when you are listening to someone, usually a preacher or speaker, and you hear someone say, “Amen!” they are driving home the point just made by that person and saying, “I agree!”.
Music was an important part of all of the festivals and worship times in the Bible. Most of the Psalms were written as songs or poems that were set to music. Whether you sing well or not doesn’t matter, just sing. Sing your worship and praises to God.
Now, back to my title. What is usually the last word you hear in a worship service? At the end of the Benediction you will hear, “Amen”. As we prepare to leave the worship service, we are entering the world with a fresh opportunity to begin; begin sharing God’s word, begin sharing your skills or talents, begin witnessing to unbelievers. It is an opportunity to BEGIN! My last church had a sign at the end of the driveway, as you were leaving, that said, “You Are Now Entering the Mission Field”. What a fantastic reminder every Sunday. We are the workers in the Mission Field. Amen is truly where it begins for us. Below you will find the link the song mentioned above. It should open in your web browser. Give it a minute to load then click the play button. Turn up your sound and have a good listen and say, "Lord let it begin with me."

I think this is a very important message. Thanks for posting it, Sara. That sign you had at your last church was a great idea. I enjoyed the song, as well.
Well said, A= agree with God, M= move with God, E= end with God, N= never doubt God, I also like the song Amen,he is Here, Amen the fields are ripe & white.stay busy for him today.
Great devotion Sara!
