Read once without the Scripture reference then reread with them.
God said, “I Am.” (Exodus 3:14)
I said, “I am lost.” (Isaiah 6:5)
God said, “I can show you the way.” (Isaiah 48:17)
I said, “I am sinful.” (Romans 3:23)
God said, “I can wash you clean.” (Psalm 51:7)
I said, “I am repentant, convicted.” (Acts 3:19)
God said, “Good. That’s what I want.” (Luke 15:10)
I said, “I am redeemed.” (Ephesians 1:7)
God said, “Yes, you are. By my blood you have been cleaned.” (1 John 1:7)
I said, “I am saved.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
God said, “You are mine. Welcome my child.” (Romans 8:15)
Thank you, Lord, for your grace and mercy. Through faith, you have given us love and hope for the days to come.
Amen
P.S. As I was proofing over writing this, the movie Overcomer, was playing on the TV. The main character said most of this, right in the middle of the movie! I had never seen the movie before. Highly reccomend.

I preached a funeral a couple weeks ago, that followed this same theme and scriptures. Some in attendance where Jehovah witness. I was asked by the son of the mother to use I am from KJV in my service. I completed my service with the question Who Am I Lord? He answered You Are Mine said God. I had a lot of comments afterwards. I planted some seeds for our Savior Jesus.
Love this Sara! I love the creativity that you used this week.
